Thank you for your prayers and partnership with East West InterKnit as we seek to come alongside those who are laboring in some of the least evangelized areas of the world. Our mission is to provide some of the tools and resources that will enable our overseas partners to be more effective in carrying out their missions. We have chosen to partner with ministries whose goals include sharing the gospel with those who have not heard, planting churches, discipling believers and training leaders.

August/September 2015: EWI InterKnit Letter

"...casting all your care upon Him, for he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

"God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2

Dear praying Friends,

Thank you so much for upholding this ministry in prayer. Those with whom we partner tell us often that our prayers for their ministries are essential and a great source of encouragement. They also assure us that they regularly pray for us.

It may be some time before I will be able to provide a detailed newsletter so I wanted to get these brief updates to you for your prayer. I expect to have surgery on August 27 to remove a cancerous nodule from my lung. I expect to be hospitalized for at least 5 days and then will need some time to recover at home. I am so blessed to have an assistant that can keep things going and many dear friends who have offered to help as needed. How good it is to be part of the family of God!

Read on for updates on the ministries of several of our partners and their most pressing prayer concerns.
