Relief Efforts Continue

MENH leaders and workers have made seven trips to Port au Prince for distribution of aid and for meeting with local leaders to make long range plans.  They will continue to go when they have sufficient funds to purchase the essential supplies.

MENH reports that there are nearly 50,000 internally displaced persons from Port au Prince resettling in the Cap Haitian area.  MENH is offering as much free medical, free education, and free food as they can but they say many more needs are unmet than met.

How can we help our brothers and sisters in Haiti?

  1. Make check donations payable to East West Interknit and write 'Haiti relief' on the memo line. The mailing address is PO Box 270333, St. Paul, MN 55127.
  2. You may also go to contribute on this site and click on 'donate' to use your credit card. Donations sent by check will arrive more quickly than funds donated by credit card.
  3. EWI commits to sending 100% of relief money to Haiti.
