Current Prayer Concerns

Pray for safety, and a clear message as SH travels for special meetings both near and far thoughout late August and the month of September.
Pray for 'Thomas' who has heard the message and is considering the claims of Christ.
Pray for provision of materials needed for Sunday schools and gospel meetings.

Outreach includes door to door visitation, weekly hospital ministry, evangelistic film showings in schools twice monthly, weekly Sunday school and gospel meetings with Bible study, annual Christmas programs and annual vacation Bible school.
Challenges include opposition from relatives who prevent family members from attending, need for additional volunteers, and need for a translator for one of the languages.
Pray for provision of materials, protection from those who would like to stop all such activities, additional helpers, and for those who have made commitments to Christ during the past year.

Praise God for a clear presentation of the gospel message at the Christmas program and for many in attendance who were hearing for the first time.
Continue to pray for the Sunday school, weekly visitation programs, the outreaches in high schools and colleges, as well as the Bible studies and correspondence courses.
Pray for SH as he travels in the region to present the gospel and to preach to widespread congregations.
Pray for a daughter completing her college studies and for another who needs but has yet to find a job.

Pray for the preparation for a Christmas program meant as an opportunity to share the good news with those who would not likely come to any other event.
Pray for opportunities to share as they begin new outreach programs in two colleges.
Pray for grace to endure as non-Christian neighbors continuously harrass and damage property.

Pray for the children who attended his Sunday school, especially those who have been threatened for attending.
Continue to pray for open doors to work in schools and other venues.
Sound equipment has been purchased and new opportunities for outreach have become available because of this. Pray for a good response as they show films and use tranparencies and other tools to share the gospel.
Wisdom and safety as they face increasing opposition from those who oppose the message.
