God is at work in the midst of the recovery: relief efforts continue and the people pray

According to all reports, the three days of fasting and praying called for by the Haitian government was observed throughout the country. One reporter said, "people were in the streets literally begging God for forgiveness and mercy." Another stated after seeing the February 16 observance in Cap Haitian, that there were "thousands upon thousands filling the streets seeking God." He added, "I have never seen anything like it."
